The Principals of Zeitgeist Consulting are Tania Sherwood and Phil Waren who established the consultancy in 2010. Beyond just us, we draw on a team of talented associates and partners to ensure that we have the capacity and the diverse skill base for almost any project.
Tania Sherwood
I have spent 20 years in the field of organisational development with specialties in culture and change, leadership and innovation. My passion lies with anything involving real, embodied transformation.
As a highly conceptual and a strategic thinker, I am at my best in an environment where I can work closely with clients and stakeholders to design the organisation they want to work in, where we can solve system, process, structure and culture problems.
Using concepts emerging from design thinking, innovation, organisational anthropology, complex adaptive systems and neuroscience, I love working closely with others who are prepared to think out of the box to find the best solution to the problem and then to design a process of implementation into the organisation to get better employee engagement and business outcomes.
An advocate of lifelong learning, any opportunity I can find to facilitate conversations, change or transformation in people or organisations is an exciting journey and I bring this enthusiasm and energy into my work.

Phil Waren
For most of my career, I’ve managed multi-disciplinary teams for statutory regulatory agencies in the gambling, utility and energy sectors.
I have built my career providing strategic regulatory, policy and compliance advice to senior management, managing stakeholder consultations and in implementing regulatory reform and change programs.
My approach is based on ensuring that where people are subject to regulation that they fully understand the regulatory framework in which they operate, the rationale behind the regulation and that any barriers to compliance are identified and understood.
I can provide insights into how regulated industries can resolve tensions between your business practice and the regulator and to critically analyse and improve business processes so you can avoid for breeching regulations due to lack of awareness or administrative oversight. We can help you to build robust governance and regulatory rigor into your business model.
